BMW Philippines unveils facelifted 3 Series
Top Gear Philippines, 3 Jul '09
BMW has introduced the facelifted 3 Series in the Philippine market.
The new 3 Series can easily be distinguished by the vehicle's wider track, increased by three millimeters at the front on each side and an even wider 12 millimeters at the back.
Additional changes to the front fascia include the new character lines that narrow down to the bonnet, framing BMW's famed kidney grille that's now lower and wider. The new headlights that are set in chrome tubing make for a stylish, high-tech look. Topping off the 3 Series' new look up front are the light rings which now serve as the car's daytime running lights.
Out back, the 3 Series' sportier and wider look continues because, on top of the wider track, the restyled L-shape of the rear lights makes it look stronger and more powerful than its predecessor, according to the company.
"We are pleased to offer the new BMW 3 Series to the Philippine market and we expect it once again to become an unmatched leader in its segment," said Jay Cruz, sales director of Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC). ACC is the exclusive distributor of BMW vehicles and motorcycles in the Philippines.
