Kia sells B2B (business-to-business) and commercial vehicles. It recruits a PBV (purpose-built vehicle) business expert with 25 years of experience in marketing and integrated solutions to start the PBV business in earnest.
Kia announced on the 10th that it had recruited director Pierre-Martin Bos as the general manager of the PBV business of Kia EU.
Pierre Martin Beau (born 1974, France), managing director, started in 1999 in charge of B2B business at FIAT Group in Italy. He is the best expert in the industry who has been through a variety of tasks, from client management to business management.
Pierre Martin Beau is primarily responsible for discovering customers and demand in the core market, Europe, establishing a sales network, building a dedicated business system for customer management and providing integrated solutions.
Furthermore, it will play an important role in seeking cooperation with global customers for the supply of products optimised for purpose-based vehicles and materialising Kia's global PBV business strategy.
At the '2023 Investor Day' held in April of this year, Kia emphasised the 'customer-oriented management system' and declared the PBV business, which provides vehicle products and mobility services tailored to the needs and needs of customers, as Kia's future core business.
To this end, we have introduced a customer-participating development process that can reflect customer opinions so that we can provide specialised solutions according to the customer's purpose of use from the product and service development stage. A dedicated production plant is also being built.
After launching the first PBV model with a dedicated platform in 2025, it plans to have a full PBV lineup from small to large, and to prepare a specialised solution package centered on software and a dedicated sales network.
A Kia official said, "Pierre Martin Beau, managing director, is the best expert in the industry who has experience in the B2B business, business vehicle sales, customer communication, and overall business management." It is expected to contribute to creating demand not only in Europe but also in major markets such as North America and Korea."
