The new middleweight sportsbike for Malaysia, the 2025 CFMoto 675 SR-R, is priced at MYR 37,888 (US$ 8,670). This pricing excludes road tax, insurance, and registration. Two colour schemes are available: Nebula White and Nebula Black.
The 675 SR-R is powered by an inline three-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine with a displacement of 675 cc, delivering 94 PS at 11,000 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch and also features an up-only quickshifter.
Reflecting its sporting focus, the 675 SR-R comes with adjustable suspension from Kayaba. The front is supported by a 40 mm diameter upside-down fork, while the rear features a monoshock, with both components adjustable for preload and compression.
Braking is handled by twin front disc brakes with four-piston J Juan calipers, while the rear has a single disc with a single-piston caliper. Standard equipment includes two-channel ABS and two-level traction control.
The bike's information display is a 5-inch TFT-LCD screen, with a lap timer and smartphone connectivity available as optional extras. Additional features include both USB-A and USB-C charging ports, with LED lighting used throughout the bike.
The 675 SR-R rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with superbike tyres in 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear) sizes. With a wet weight of 195 kg, the bike has a fuel tank capacity of 14-litres and a seat height of 810 mm.
In Malaysia's middleweight sports bike market, the 675 SR-R faces competition from models such as the Triumph Daytona 660, priced at MYR 49,500, the Honda CBR650R at MYR 46,499, and the Suzuki GSX-8R, retailing for MYR 53,800.
