Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Platina 125 as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the biking experience for its customers.

The electric start version has been priced at Rs. 36,000 (US$ 776) ex-showroom Bangalore. The new Platina 125 also comes with a 5-speed gear box, among other features.

Bajaj Auto CEO (two-wheelers) S. Sridhar said, "The new bike makes for easy commuting even on rough roads and provides amazing value for money," adding "we believe this offering would reinforce our presence in the entry level bike segment."
