Chery has launched the V23, a fully electric subcompact SUV, in the Thai market, with pricing and specifications officially announced.

Chery, an automotive brand under Chery Automobile Company, has confirmed that the model is available with either a single electric motor or dual electric motors, offering a driving range of 360 km and 480 km, respectively.

The V23 will be offered in three versions.

The V23, known as the Chery iCar V23 in the Chinese market, is a fully electric subcompact SUV with a boxy design.

The front design incorporates round headlights and overlapping LED strips with a central square light. The side profile has black wheel arches and permanently installed side steps. Door handles are recessed and illuminated.

Alloy wheels are offered in two designs: a 21-inch black 5-spoke wheel for the top model and a 19-inch black solid steel wheel for the entry-level model.

The rear includes horizontal taillights, a rectangular equipment box, additional brake lights, a rear-view camera, and Transparent Radar sensors on both corners of the rear bumper. The vehicle's dimensions are 1,915 mm in width, 4,220 mm in length, 1,845 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.

On the inside it has a high roofline and low window frames. The layout includes door handles, window controls, and speakers integrated into the doors. The centre console is positioned to allow access from either side when parking in confined spaces.

The dashboard contains a 15.4-inch touchscreen display for infotainment and a retro-style air conditioning control panel. The 65W Super Charging system supports rapid smartphone charging from 10% to 90% in 30 minutes.

Front seats include an electric adjustment system. The second-row seats fold 50/50, providing up to 834 litres of luggage space when fully lowered.

Two drive configurations are available: a single rear-wheel-drive (RWD) electric motor producing 136 PS and 180 Nm of torque, paired with a 59.93 kWh battery providing a 360 km range (NEDC standard) and DC fast charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 36 minutes; and a dual electric motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system producing 211 PS and 292 Nm of torque, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.5 seconds, an 81.76 kWh battery, a 430 km range (NEDC standard), and DC fast charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 42 minutes.

It is equipped with a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system supplying up to 3.3 kW of power to external electrical appliances.
