David Pieris Motor Company (DPMC) has announced the launch of three new Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles - the Pulsar N125, Pulsar N160 Premium, and Pulsar NS200 USD.
This launch is the first major motorcycle introduction in Sri Lanka following the lifting of vehicle import restrictions. These new models offer advanced technology, enhanced safety, and improved performance.
All models, except the N125, are equipped with ABS braking systems and upside-down front shock absorbers, providing improved safety and comfort.
The Pulsar range is designed to suit the needs of young riders while offering a practical riding experience for motorcycle enthusiasts.
Lakmal de Silva, Chief Officer - Vehicle Sales at DPMC, stated, "DPMC was the first to introduce motorcycles such as the Bajaj CT100, Bajaj Discover 125, and Pulsar N160 - even during the import restrictions - through the Local Value Addition (LVA) Program initiated by the Industries Ministry three years ago. With the lifting of vehicle import restrictions, we are seeing a revival of the automotive industry, particularly in the two-wheeler sector. DPMC continues to lead in both LVA and imported motorcycles by launching models like these."
He further added, "We appreciate the government's support for the industry and look forward to introducing more new models, including the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter and electric three-wheelers, to offer affordable, clean mobility and provide value to the people of Sri Lanka."
The newly launched Pulsar motorcycles are now available for purchase through DPMC's nationwide showroom network and over 200 dealer points across the country.
Customers can also access after-sales service through DPMC's network of more than 1,300 spare parts and service dealers, ensuring long-term reliability.
