Toyota Fortuner assembled version is being discounted at dealers from VND 45-50 million (US$ 1,850-2,050). In addition, buyers also receive a 50% discount on registration fees.

Surveying at a number of Toyota dealers in Hanoi, Fortuner domestically assembled diesel engine versions are being discounted from VND 45-50 million.

Specifically, the Toyota Fortuner 2.4MT 4x2 diesel engine is discounted by VND 50 million, bringing the starting price of the Fortuner down to only VND 986 million. The single-axle automatic version using the same engine is also reduced by VND 50 million, down to VND 1.068 billion.

The two highest-end diesel engine versions, the Toyoa Fortuner 2.4AT 4x2 Legender and 2.8AT 4x4 Legender, are discounted by VND 45 and 50 million, respectively. After the discount, the Toyota Fortuner two versions mentioned above are priced from VND 1.214 and 1.42 billion, respectively.

Because it is a domestically assembled car, customers who buy the Toyota Fortuner above versions will receive a 50% reduction in registration fees when going through registration procedures and license plates. The additional savings range from VND 51-88 million depending on the locality.
