Dongfeng EV new showroom in Balkumari opens

Triveni Motocorp, the official distributor of Dongfeng EV for Nepal, has launched a new showroom in Balkumari, Lalitpur in Nepal.
The company under the Triveni Group has also started selling electric passenger and cargo vans from a new showroom.
Dongfeng, one of China's three largest vehicle manufacturers and distributed in 60 countries, is selling 11-seat and 14-seat electric passenger vans and 4.5 and 4.3 cubic meter cargo vans.
The 11-seat van brought by the company is equipped with a 50 KW motor and a 42 KWh lithium-ion battery. Similarly, the 14-seat van has an 80 KW motor and a 50 KW hour battery pack.
It is claimed that a range of 300 km can be obtained by driving this van with a Seattle battery at a speed of 40 km. Triveni Motocorp claims that this van has a range of 250 km when tested.
The company has expanded its dealer network across Nepal to sell and distribute the vehicle. A well-equipped service centre has been established at Jorpati in Kathmandu for after-sales service.
