FAW secures export order with Russian distributor

FAW Group has recently signed an agreement with Russian dealership network QueenGroup to export 33,000 vehicles to the country within the next three years, a media source reported today. The export order is the manufacturer's largest to date and represents an important step in its path towards globalization. FAW Car will send 500 Besturn B50 compacts to QueenGroup later this month. The 1.6 L engine-powered B50 will be priced between 499,000 and 599,000 rubles (US$ 15,270-US$ 18,330). The price is slightly higher than the 93,800 to 125,800 yuan (US$ 14,842-19,905) it sells for in China.
