Geely Auto Indonesia is planning to add one new model to its product line by the end of this year.

Constantius Herlijoso, Sales and Channel Development Director of Geely Auto Indonesia, said that the company is still discussing the possibility of adding another model to its product line.

"Of course, we are still discussing whether it is possible for us to add a new model, because we will prepare new models that we will launch in the near future," he said in South Tangerang recently.

Herlijoso said that the car would be a new Geely model for the Indonesian market. However, he declined to reveal whether it would be powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE), an electric vehicle (EV) or a plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

As a result, there is no confirmation regarding the model that will be introduced or the timing of its launch.

One potential venue for the model's introduction is Gaikindo Auto Week 2026.

The exhibition, previously known as Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW), is scheduled to take place from November 20th to 29th, 2026, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. However, Geely has not confirmed whether the new model will be introduced at the exhibition. If launched, the model would add another vehicle to Geely's range in the Indonesian market.

Geely currently has four models marketed in Indonesia: the EX5, Starray EM-i, EX2 and Coolray. The EX5 was Geely's first model in Indonesia and features a pure-electric drivetrain (BEV). Geely subsequently introduced the Starray EM-i, which uses PHEV technology.

In 2026, Geely added the EX2 as a compact electric car. Meanwhile, the Coolray became part of its internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle line-up. This is in line with Geely's product plans previously announced by the company.

Last year, Geely stated that it was targeting seven models in Indonesia by 2027. This leaves scope for the company to add further products to the Indonesian market.
