MG5 launches facelifted Prestige

MG Motor Philippines has expanded its line-up with the launch of the facelifted MG5 Prestige.
It receives updated features and a revised exterior design, positioning it for daily commuting and family use. The model retains the characteristics of a compact sedan. The MG5 Prestige measures 4,607 mm in length, 1,818 mm in width, and 1,489 mm in height, with a 2,680 mm wheelbase.
These dimensions contribute to cabin space and ride characteristics. The interior accommodates five passengers and includes a 512-litre boot. The model is positioned within the sedan segment with a combination of space, features, and design elements.
The exterior includes automatic projector LED headlamps with daytime running lights and 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels. A power sunroof is also included. The cabin layout incorporates a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, supporting navigation, entertainment, and communication functions. Rear occupants are provided with air-conditioning vents and USB ports.
Additional features include a reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, cruise control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The MG5 Prestige is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 112 PS at 6,000 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, paired with a CVT transmission. The powertrain complies with Euro VI emission standards.
It is available in diamond red, phantom black, cosmic silver and dover white. The model is priced at PHP 888,888 (US$ 14,880).
At launch, MG Motor Philippines is offering an introductory promotion that includes PHP 20,000 in cash savings, a down payment option starting at PHP 70,000, and one PMS service for a limited period.
