Maruti Celerio CNG launched in India

Maruti has launched the Celerio with a factory-fitted CNG kit in India. Like other Maruti CNG offerings, the Celerio CNG version is called the Celerio Green. It comes with the same 1-litre power-plant but churns out 67 BHP, 10 less than the petrol-powered version. The car is powered by Marutis patented iGPI system that also does duty on the Maruti WagonR and Ertiga. Maruti claims the Celerio Green will do 31.79 km/ kg. It is priced at Rs. 492,000 (US$ 8,406) ex-showroom, Mumbai.
