Mazda8 to enter China market in early December

The Mazda8 is going to be launched on December 9th and will be shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show from December 21th. The first Chinese-made Mazda MPV is expected to be sold for around 250,000 yuan (US$ 37,675). The seven-seat MPV measures 4,868 x 1,850 x 1,685 mm, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. The Japanese-made Mazda8 is equipped with two types of engines: The 2.3L MZR turbo-charged engine and the 2.3L MZR I4 naturally-aspirated engine. But the Chinese-produced Mazda8 features a 2.3L engine, same with the Mazda 6 model; and a four-speed AMT transmission, according to the released Chinese-produced Mazda8 green dictionary.
