Mercedes launches environment-friendly models in Hong Kong

Mercedes-Benz has introduced nine new environment-friendly cars in Hong Kong, in addition to two smart models. The new variants, all of which are equipped with BlueEFFICIENCY technology, also come with direct injection petrol engines, start-stop technology and Mercedes' 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. All nine variants are eligible for Hong Kong's environmentally friendly petrol passenger car scheme, by virtue of which buyers will be given a discount on the First Registration Tax. The newly-introduced Mercedes variants are the Coupe, Cabriolet, Saloon and Estate versions of the E 200 and E 250 Coupe, as well as the CLS 350. In addition the above, two smart versions were also introduced - the 45kW and 52 kW variants of the smart fortwo.
