New model-year Haima Happin to make Chinese market debut next week
Gasgoo, 2 Jun '12

The 2012-model year Haima Happin will make its official Chinese market debut next week, a media source reported today.

The new Happin boasts several upgrades from its predecessor. It will be priced between 60,000 and 70,000 yuan (US$ 9,500-US$ 11,000).

The 2012 Happin shares the same measurements as the previous model. They both measure 4.37 m long, 1.69 m wide and 1.41 m tall, and sport a wheelbase of 2.61 m.

The new Happin sports many new features, including Bluetooth compatibility, USB ports, a tire pressure monitoring system and parking sensors. The Happin retains the two-tone scheme from the previous model, while moving around the seats to make the interior more spacious.

The 2012 Happin is equipped with a 1.5 L engine producing up to 112 hp and 147 Nm of torque. It is driven by a five-speed manual transmission.
