Suzuki Motor's Indonesian subsidiary Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM) has launched the new three-row Ertiga MPV in the country.

The new MPV will be available in diesel and petrol powertrains, with the diesel version powered by a 1248cc D13A DDiS VGT engine delivering a 90ps output and a torque of 200nm at 1750rpm.

Its petrol variant will be powered by a1373cc K14B VVT engine, generating a power output of 95ps at 6000rpm and 130nm torque at 4000rpm.

Ertiga, which was initially launched in India, will be produced for the Indonesian market at SIM plant, while is initially planning to produce and sell about 50,000 units for the first year.

SIM claims that by launching Ertiga to the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) category, which covers about 60% of passenger vehicles in Indonesia, it will meet many customers' requirements.
