Jagadamba Motors, the authorised distributor of TVS bikes in Nepal, has launched its newest cruiser for the Nepali market.

TVS Nepal has been a front-runner in introducing the latest TVS products as quickly as possible. Following the successful launch of the TVS iQube S and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V SE, the company expanded its portfolio with a modern cruiser.

TVS Ronin, the highly-anticipated cruiser from TVS Nepal, features a new cruiser design, smart features, and a fresh engine. TVS Ronin 225 price starts in Nepal at Rs. 449,900 (US$ 3,390).

Design
TVS claims that Ronin 225 is unique, different, and fresh. It sports a brand new cruiser styling, a first from TVS Motors. There is a mix of retro elements with modern ones.

The front section gets a circular T-Face Pilot Lamp with a powerful LED headlamp. The side indicators are also LEDs. The cruiser styling is even more apparent from the side profile.

It includes a sleek LED tail lamp. Other unique Ronin elements include 9-spoke Alloy Wheels, Chain Cover, and Custom Exhaust. Additionally, the TVS Ronin 225 comes in six different colours: Grey and Orange.

Performance
TVS Ronin 225 is powered by a 225.9cc Single-Cylinder, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve, Oil-Cooled, SOHC, FI engine. It generates a max power of 20.4 PS at 7750rpm and a max torque of 19.93 Nm at 3750rpm.

It is mated to a 5-speed Gearbox with an Assisted Slipper Clutch. Moreover, it comes with a 14-litre fuel tank capacity. This is the same engine as in the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.

There are no riding modes like the other TVS products. However, it does include Urban and Rain Mode to switch between the ABS sensitivity.

Other trademark TVS features like Glide Through Technology (GTT), Adjustable Levers, Side Stand Engine Cut Off, and Dual-Channel ABS come as standard.

Additional details
The dimensions are 2040mm in length, 1170mm in height, and 805mm in width. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 1357mm. TVS Ronin gets an 181mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 160 kg, 41mm USD Fork and 7-Step Adjustable Mono Shock handle the suspension duties.

As for the costs, the TVS Ronin 225 price in Nepal is Rs. 449,900 for the standard option. Nevertheless, the riders can opt for additional add-ons like the Touring Kit and Urban Kit.
