Taking advantage of the 2023 Jakarta Fair (PRJ) momentum, TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TVS-MCI) launched the newest product in the Modern-Retro class, namely the TVS Ronin.

The TVS Ronin is the first 'modern-retro' style sports motorbike from TVS Motor Company which was launched to meet the needs of a stylish riding lifestyle. The latest technology provides an unlimited fun riding experience, especially for urban riders.

"The launch of our TVS Ronin in Indonesia is another step further in achieving our global ambitions and offering the best products to our global customers," said Vimal Sumbly, Head Business-Premium, TVS Motor Company.

With dimensions of 2,040 mm in length, 805 mm in width, 1,170 in height and 1,357 mm in wheelbase, the TVS Ronin uses a Double Cradle Split Synchro Stiff (DCSSS) chassis with a 14 litre fuel tank. The 160 kg motorbike carries a 1-cylinder, four-valve SOHC, 225 cc engine that can spit out 20.4 PS of power at 7750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm.

TVS claims that this new motorbike has the best Power to Weight Ratio performance in its category. Not to mention the unique features and technology to accommodate rain conditions and braking in ABS mode for urban tracks. There is also a Glide Through Technology (GTT) feature as well as Smart Bluetooth connectivity with the help of voice commands.

TVS Ronin is available in two variants, SS (single tone single channel ABS) and TD (Triple tone dual channel ABS). The TVS Ronin SS costs IDR 34.9 million (US$ 2,338), while the TD model costs IDR38.9 million on the road Jakarta.
