SgCarMart, 15 Jan '26
Toyota has expanded its electrified vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Vios Hybrid, now available for the first time in the city-state of Singapore.
Unveiled as part of a three-model showcase at the 2026 Singapore Motor Show, the Vios Hybrid forms part of Toyota's multi-pathway approach to electrification, demonstrating that there is no single route to decarbonisation.
The RAV4 Full Hybrid and the bZ4X battery electric vehicle were also presented alongside it.
The Vios Hybrid, a self-charging full hybrid, has a refreshed exterior with a low-profile bumper, sculpted side pontoons, a six-window design, and a fastback silhouette.
Compact and easy to manoeuvre, the sedan is powered by a 1.5-litre hybrid electric powertrain optimised for stop-start traffic and the tight spaces typical of urban environments.
It produces 112 PS and 262 Nm of torque, with fuel efficiency of 27 km/L and a driving range of up to 972 km on a full tank.
The Vios Hybrid is designed for practical use. A 460-litre boot provides space for groceries, luggage, or other items, while the cabin includes 64-colour ambient lighting.
Safety and convenience features include a 360 degree view camera to assist with parking, as well as Toyota Safety Sense functions such as Pedal Misoperation Control and Front Departure Alert.
The Vios Hybrid is currently available for sale at SGD 179,888 (US$ 139,690).
