On October 1st, Yadea Vietnam officially introduces electric motorcycle called X5 for students, with pricing starting from VND 21.99 million (US$ 980).

It possesses a pretty youthful appearance, using a two-story saddle set and a new generation of handlebars that can be adjusted to suit the driver's condition. Ground clearance has also been raised to 135mm.

The X5 has upgraded a high-definition LCD HD LCD screen, which displays full speed parameters, battery status, total distance traveled, driving mode. It used a unique GTR 3.0 engine, having output of 1.2 kW and torque of up to 16.92 Nm. The X5 is equipped with 6 Graphene batteries that allow travel up to 90km with each charge. Graphene batteries have a lifespan of up to 5 years, equivalent to about 1,300 charges.
