Yamaha Indonesia starts accepting bookings for Byson

Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) has started accepting bookings for the new Byson through its dealerships across the country. 200 units of the bike are said to have been booked already, including some via online orders. The bike has been priced at Rp 19-20 million (US$ 2,100-2,200), which makes it cheaper than the V-Ixion. Though the Byson has a larger 153cc engine compared to the V-Ixion (150cc), it has been priced lower than the latter; this is because the Byson comes with a carburettor, as against the V-Ixion's fuel injection system.
