A special brand under Chinese motorcycle maker CFMoto, the 2024 Zeeho AE4 electric scooter is now available in Malaysia, priced at MYR 6,999 (US$ 1,670). The price does not include insurance or government rebates, and the colour options are Velocity Grey, Nebula White, and Helios Orange.

The AE4 is powered by a hub-mounted motor located in the rear wheel, rated at 1.6 kW. A non-removable 74V 27Ah battery provides energy, giving the AE4 an overall power rating of 4 PS and a maximum speed of 65 km/h.

According to the specifications sheet, the AE4 can accelerate from 0 to 30 km/h in 3.5 seconds. As for range, Zeeho claims the AE4 can travel 63 km, measured according to the World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) testing protocol.

The equipment on the AE4 is reasonably well-fitted for an entry-level electric scooter, including ABS, traction control, and two ride modes. Other rider conveniences include an LCD instrument panel, cruise control, a smart key system, LED lighting, and hill hold control.

A 31-litre storage compartment is located under the seat, while the floorboard is wide, providing ample legroom. Rolling on 12-inch wheels, the AE4 is equipped with disc brakes at both the front and rear, and the rear shock absorber is adjustable for spring preload.
