Dynamic Motor Thailand company, the official distributor of Lambretta motorcycles in Thailand has now announced the launch of the new motorcycle brand from China, Zontes which is ready to market the first 2 models of 350 cc class scooters, consisting of the Zontes 350E and Zontes 350D, special prices during the launch started at THB 141,000 (US$ 3,830).

Zontes 350D

The standard Zontes 350E city scooter is designed for use in the city. The bike comes with 4 LED projector headlights, left-right separate taillights, and a sporty front shield, electrically adjustable while riding, USB charging port in the left storage compartment, both Type-A and Type-C, luggage space under the seat that can hold 1 full face helmet, 12 capacity fuel tank.

It is available in 3 different colours: Green Turquoise, Light Gray or Extra Black.

Zontes 350D special price during launch was THB 141,000 (from the normal price of THB 149,000), engine warranty is for 5 years or 50,000 km.

Zontes 350E

The luxury model Zontes 350E is suitable for long distance travel with more complete standard equipment such as a set of 6 LED projector headlights, an electric front shield, all 3 USB fast charging ports Type-A and Type-C on the left storage compartment and Type-A under the display, adjustable handlebars, under-seat luggage space can hold 2 XXL size full face helmets, increased fuel tank capacity which is 16-litres.

It is available in 4 colours: Light Grey, Dark Grey, Extra Black or Ruby Red.

Zontes 350E special price during launch was THB 149,000 (from the normal price of THB 159,000), engine warranty is for 5 years or 50,000 km.

Both the Zontes 350E and 350D come with a TFT display that can be adjusted to 4 different display settings. The screen has a light sensor that can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen, including Bright mode during the day and Dark Mode at night.

There are 3 options for connecting to the user's smartphone:

1. - Connect via Bluetooth. For showing incoming calls on the display, The user can press to answer the call with the MOD button and press to end the call with the SET button on the left hand switch.

2. - Connect through the Zontes Intelligence app which supports viewing the status and various information of the car, including locking/unlocking. The user can lock the car instead of the key.

3. - connect via the Carbit Ride app, which supports the use of the navigation system, playing music, and the Mirror screen function for mirroring the screen image from your smartphone to the TFT screen on the car and can open Google Map or Youtube.

The safety system of both models include a dual channel ABS braking system for both front and rear, a Radial Mount front brake with a brake pump from Spain J.Juan, adjustable brake levers to suit the rider's needs, and a Traction Control System, skid control, push-open passenger footrest, rear handle to prevent falling, hand brake system or Brake handle with parking function which prevents slipping in the case of temporary parking on a ramp.

With warning signal in case one forgets to unlock the brake lever, anti-theft system when turning off the engine and breaking the handle to the left. The system will automatically lock the handlebars and automatic tire pressure measurement system.

There is also a 3.0 Keyless remote control with IP67 protection against water and dust. It can also be immersed in water at a depth not exceeding 1 metre for 30 minutes.

For the operation of 3.0 Keyless, just the rider who carries it with him within 1.5 meters will be able to press Immediate start button and when the rider takes the key away from the car more than 1.5 metres, it will automatically lock the vehicle. In the event that the key's battery runs out the car can be started by placing the key against the IMMO (Immobiliser) emblem on the right glove compartment.

In terms of power, the Zontes 350E and 350D use a single-cylinder, 4-valve engine with a cylinder capacity of 349 cc, fuel supplied with BOSCH injectors, maximum power of approximately 36 PS at 7,500 rpm/min, maximum torque of 37.26 Nm at 6,000 rpm/min.

The riding mode can be chosen between ECO or Sport, and both come with the same suspension system: telescopic front shocks, rear spring shocks, with 5 levels of preload adjustment.
