Geely Holding Group said on April 13th that all Geely-brand vehicles will be classified into three new brands next year and that the company will promote a marketing system based on different products' positioning inside the company.

According to Zhao Fuquan, the vice president of Geely Holding Group, the updated iterations of three main products - Free Ship, King Kong and Vision are under development and will be launched to the market next year. At that time, these products will change the Geely logo to Gleagle, Emgrand and Shanghai Englon brands.

The Freedom Ship will be renamed as the Gleagle GC3, King Kong will be renamed as the Englon SC6, Jinying will be renamed as the Gleagle GC6-RV and the Vision will be called the Gleagle GC7. All current Geely products will be brought into the new multi-brand system.

The current Maple (Huapu) cars will not change their logo and will exit the market automatically at the end of their product life cycle, said by Liu Jinliang, the vice president of Geely Holding Group.

Geely restructured the brand system to Gleagle, Emgrand and Englon, replacing the fomer Geely and Maple brands in 2008.
