Tata may launch Nano in Vietnam in April, priced from VND 150 million

Media sources have revealed that the Tata Nano may be launched in Vietnam as early as April, at a price of VND 150-180 million (US$ 7,200-8,650). Local sales agent TMT will handle the distribution of the Nano, which will get the same 0.6-litre, 38PS engine that it gets in its Indian home market. The Nano will be modified to accomodate left-hand drive, and will get air-conditioning, electric windows at the front and a limited top speed of 105 kmph. The first batch will be of only 50 cars and will be used to test the waters in Vietnam.
