Chery Automobile and lithium battery company China BAK Battery have jointly unveiled the Chery Ruilin M1, though no pricing or specific time frame for public availability have been announced.

The Chery Ruilin M1 is powered by BAK's lithium-ion phosphate batteries. This small electric car is said to have a top speed of around 75 miles per hour (120km/h) and can go a maximum distance of slightly over 60 miles (100km) before needing for the battery to be recharged.

It has also been reported the maximum distance is closer to 90 miles, depending upon where the scant bit of information on this vehicle has been sourced from. There's not much more information available on the M1 other than this at the moment.

It was also unveiled that BAK's lithium-ion phosphate batteries would be powering four other electric vehicles under development by Chery, including the Ruilin X1, Chery A5, Ruilin G5 and an additional model of its M1 series. All of these vehicles were talked about at at the 25th World Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS) on November 5th in China.
