Chevrolet has now opened its first dealership under Hari Phil Asia Resources (HARI), the newly minted distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines.
The newest member of the Chevrolet dealership network is located in Camarines Sur and is operated by Frontier Automotive Marilao Corporation (FAMC) of the Chiongbian group.
HARI Board, led by HARI Vice Chair, President and chief executive officer (CEO), Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, received a warm welcome and congratulations from prominent members of the province's government and business sectors, led by the Mayor of the Municipality of Pili, Hon. Tomas O. Bongalonta.
Ms. Agudo thanked the Camarines Sur leadership saying, "Our presence in Bicol will make Chevrolet's global tagline, 'Together, let us Drive,' a reality. As the newest member of the local business community, we are ready to be your partner in driving the economy of Camarines Sur and pursue the noble aspirations of the Bicol Region."
Camarines Sur is a hub for adventure sports and eco-tourism in the Bicol Region, which is already touted as the "Sports and Adventure Capital of the Philippines." It is also the largest province of Bicol, contributing to around 33.4% of the region's economy as well as the geographic centre of the Bicol Peninsula.
Mr. William Chiongbian, Dealer Principal, shares that expanding Chevrolet's brand presence in Bicol is of strategic timing, given current and future infrastructure plans that will develop Camarines Sur into one of the Philippines major growth centres for tourism and commerce.
"Things are looking up for Camarines Sur. So, right here and now, we can already begin to add more value, serving and delighting the mobility needs of the Bicolano's and of the diverse markets who are visiting and who will be visiting this beautiful province," said Mr. Chiongbian.
For over 20 years, the Chiongbian Group has been a steadfast business partner of HARI, consistently ranking among its top performing dealerships. Which is why Ms. Agudo confidently stated that the new dealership is more than ready to offer Chevrolet's trademark service to Bicolano's.
"We continue to live up to our legacy of excellence in new ways in order to respond to the needs of diverse markets, without ever letting go of our founding vision, which is to get you to where you want to be in a fast, safe, and fun way," she continued.
