China's Jianghuai Automobile Co. (JAC) has introduced the Stallion pickup truck in the Philippine market.

The Stallion comes with a 2.8-litre HFC4DA1-1 turbo intercooler diesel engine that passes Euro II emissions standards.

Features include power windows and the side mirrors, auto-dimming interior rear view mirror, air conditioning, airbags, central locking, CD player, power steering and ABS brakes.

The front suspension comprises a front double swing arm torsion bar that also has a spiral spring independent suspension. The rear is a steer spring suspension system to handle the loads for the cargo bed. Transmission is a five-speed manual. The Stallion can handle loads up to 500 kgs.

The company has 10 showrooms and 20 service centers all over Metro Manila, Cavite, Baguio, Isabela, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.

JAC has offices, national service centre and training facility at 1129 Edsa Balintawak and Quezon City. It also has warehouse and testing facility areas at ITC Compound, Gen. Luis St., Bagbaguin and Caloocan City.
