Ducati Multistrada V4 RS launched in India
Autocar India, 30 Aug '24
Ducati has launched the Multistrada V4 RS at Rs. 3.85 million (US$ 46,000), making it Rs. 700,000 more expensive than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
It also costs nearly Rs. 1.7 million more than the standard Multistrada V4, a difference that is enough to purchase a Multistrada V2.
Launch details
The Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, the same engine found in the Panigale V4. This engine produces 182 PS at 12,250 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm, making the V4 RS one of the most powerful ADV-style sport tourers currently available.
To keep the overall weight down, the Multistrada V4 RS uses high-quality materials such as carbon fibre components, a titanium subframe, and Marchesini forged wheels. The bike weighs 225 kg excluding fuel.
Ducati has also given the V4 RS a unique livery designed by Centro Stile. Underneath, it features an aluminium monocoque chassis paired with electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension.
Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema callipers on twin 330mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc with a Brembo two-piston calliper at the rear.
Deliveries for the Multistrada V4 RS are set to begin early in September, 2024.
