Thanh Cong Viet Hung Auto plant to boost Thailand's auto industry

Launched in September 2020, the Thanh Cong - Viet Hung auto plant project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Thanh Cong Viet Hung, a subsidiary of Thanh Cong (TC) Group - known for assembling and distributing Hyundai vehicles in Vietnam - is headquartered at Viet Hung Industrial Park in Ha Long City, with a charter capital of VND 1.736 trillion (US$ 72.9 million).

Once operational, the auto manufacturing and assembling plant is projected to produce 120,000 cars annually and will be the first facility in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to assemble and manufacture Skoda Auto-branded vehicles.

The Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority granted an investment certificate for the Thanh Cong Viet Hung auto plant project on September 18th, 2020.

With dynamic leadership and strategic partnerships, the Thanh Cong Viet Hung automobile factory is set to transform Vietnam's automotive landscape, driving innovation and economic growth.
