GAC Vietnam has launched the GS3 Emzoom 1.5T Premium R, with a starting price of VND 639 million (US$ 24,330).

The B-segment SUV adopts GAC's Star Diamond Shadow design language and features LED headlamps, flush door handles, a rear spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The powertrain produces 176 PS and 270 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately eight seconds. Combined fuel consumption is rated at 5.9 litres/100 km under the NEDC testing cycle.

Inside, the GS3 Emzoom is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an electronic gear selector, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control with a PM1.0 air filtration system, a six-speaker DTS sound system and a panoramic sunroof.

In terms of safety, the SUV is equipped with a Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic jam assist and a 360-degree camera with a 3D display. It also features an automatic parking system and six airbags.

GAC Vietnam is also offering its "7-7-7" after-sales programme, which includes a seven-year or 150,000 km warranty, seven years of 24/7 roadside assistance and seven years of free labour for scheduled maintenance.
