Jetour Malaysia has opened bookings for the T1 SUV, which is offered in two variants: the 1.5-litre TGDi 2WD and the 2.0-litre TGDi XWD (Cross-Wheel Drive).

The T1 is estimated to be priced from MYR 143,800 (US$ 36,300) for the TGDi 2WD variant and MYR 153,800 for the TGDi XWD variant. It will be supported by ownership and warranty coverage.

Customers can place bookings at authorised showrooms. Jetour Malaysia stated that the T1 has been developed for Malaysian customers seeking a well-equipped SUV for daily use and weekend travel.

The TGDi 2WD variant is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo direct injection engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Standard equipment includes full LED headlamps and tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, leatherette seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a 12.8-inch multimedia display with a voice assistant, an eight-speaker audio system, and monochrome ambient lighting.

Safety features include six airbags, Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) Level 2, and a panoramic view monitoring system.

The TGDi XWD variant is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo direct injection engine along with 7+X drive modes.

Additional features include 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a driver's seat with a memory function, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, a 15.6-inch multimedia display with a voice assistant, a Sony nine-speaker audio system, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

In terms of safety performance, the T1 received a five-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP assessment under the 2021-2025 protocol, with a total score of 87.67 points.

The T1 will be available in four exterior colours: khaki white, aviation silver, sand gold and carbon black.

Jetour Auto Malaysia CEO Fu Yong stated, "With the T1, a SUV combining styling, technology, and versatility is being introduced, reflecting the requirements of Malaysian drivers. It is expected that the model will appeal to customers seeking a SUV suitable for everyday use."
