Jiyue 07 applied for sales license in local market

Recently, Jiyue's second model - Jiyue 07, was declared by the Chinese ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) to have applied for sales license, implying it will soon be available for consumer sales. Jiyue is a joint venture (JV) between Geely and Baidu.
Jiyue 07 is a four-door medium-sized pure electric sedan and built based on Geely's SEA platform, with a size of 4953 mm length, 1989 mm width, 1475 mm height and a 3013 mm wheelbase.
The entire vehicle is smooth and streamlined, featuring induction doors without door handles and an electric rear wing and it is internally known as 0.198Cd.
According to Frank Wu, head of Jiyue design, the Jiyue 07 is a "fusion of pure sexy design and cutting-edge intelligent technology," and received the iF Design Award 2023 and was the Red Dot 2023 car design winner.
Dual lidars are hidden inside the light groups on both sides of the front bumper. The front face also integrates an intelligent interactive lighting system.
Furthermore, the Jiyue 07 will be available in single-motor and dual-motor versions. The single-motor version will come with two battery options: lithium iron phosphate from SVOLT and ternary lithium from the CATL-Geely JV; and the maximum power of the electric motor will be 200 kW.
The dual-motor version will be equipped with a ternary lithium battery; and the front and rear motor will each output 200 kW.
Inside, the cockpit has a long screen that runs across the dashboard, paired with a half-moon steering wheel, according to the interior spy shots, which aligns with the declaration information.
At the same time, the cockpit is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and supports advanced driving assistance capabilities.
So far, Jiyue car owners have access to a total of 350,000 charging piles across 330+ Chinese cities. It will further collaborate with NIO and Zeekr to expand its charging access. Moreover, Jiyue also utilises Lynk & Co's after-sales service system.
