On March 2nd 2024, Leap motor officially launched the C10 in the Chinese market.
The C10 line-up features seven variants with a price range of CNY 128,800 to 168,800 (US$ 17,890 to 23,450)
Specifically, the lineup includes four battery-electric models priced between CNY 128,800 and 168,800 and three extended-range models priced between CNY 135,800 and 165,800.
The battery-electric versions boast a maximum battery capacity of 69.9 kWh, with a maximum range of 530 km under China light-duty vehicles test cycle (CLTC) conditions, while the extended-range versions offer a maximum battery capacity of 28.4 kWh, with a battery-powered range of up to 210 km and a combined range of up to 1,190 km under CLTC conditions.
Positioned as the "Ideal Home for Young Drivers" by Leap motor, the C10 is the first globally-oriented strategic model under Leap motor's LEAP 3.0 technology architecture, with plans for global sales in the second half of the year.
The C10 rides on Leap motor's proprietary "Four-Leaf Clover" central integrated electrical/electronic architecture. It is powered by the Qualcomm SA8295P flagship intelligent cockpit chip and boasts an advanced driving assistance system with Orin-X + LiDAR hardware, making it a true software -defined vehicle.
It boasts a 10.25-inch high-definition instrument panel paired with a 14.6-inch central control screen, offering a premium user experience. The central control screen boasts a resolution of 2,560*1,440, reaching 2.5K HD.
Thanks to the supercomputing capability of the "Four-Leaf Clover" central integrated electronic architecture, the C10 is the industry's first model capable of achieving cabin intelligent driving seamless OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrades, said Leap motor.
With this function, updates are applied without requiring the owner to wait for downloads, ensuring a seamless transition to the upgraded state upon the next vehicle start-up.
The C10 is equipped with 30 high-precision perception hardware devices, including 128-line LiDAR, enabling L3 intelligent driving assistance capabilities. It offers 25 intelligent driving assistance functions, including the innovative NAC navigation-assisted cruise control function, which enhances vehicle adaptability at intersections and corners, liberating the driver's feet.
To further enhance chassis comfort, the C10 adopts a five-link suspension system and optimised tuning, improving key performance metrics such as pitch, roll, and heave control. With reduced vehicle sway during acceleration and braking, improved cornering stability, and enhanced suspension damping over bumps, the C10 delivers a smoother ride experience.
