Informa Markets, in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders in the automotive industry, will host MobilityTech Asia - Bangkok 2025, an expanded version of the Electric Vehicle Asia event, which has taken place for over ten years.
The event is intended to support the development of next-generation mobility, including electric vehicles (EVs), smart mobility, and clean energy solutions.
It will be held under the theme "Shaping the Regional Innovation Hub for Sustainable Mobility." The exhibition is intended to serve as a platform for discussions on mobility technologies, business opportunities, investment, and the energy transition in the Thai automotive sector, in accordance with international standards. The event will take place from 2th - 4th July 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC), Bangkok.
Associate Professor Dr Yossapong Laoonual, Assistant to the President for Sustainability and Head of the Mobility and Vehicle Technology Research Centre (MOVE) at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), stated:
"Mobility technologies now extend beyond electric vehicles (EVs) and include systems aligned with the CASE concept - Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric. At the MOVE Research Centre, research and development are conducted through collaboration between government, industry, academia, and civil society, aimed at supporting a shift toward sustainable mobility and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. There is also a focus on enabling Thai enterprises to compete internationally.
MobilityTech Asia - Bangkok 2025 (MTAB) will be supported by the MOVE Research Centre, which will also co-host the Future MOVE Forum, a regional knowledge-sharing platform. This forum will include discussions on the integration of EVs with energy grids, hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure, connected and autonomous transport systems, and next-generation mobility services."
Sanchai Noombunnam, Country General Manager of Informa Markets - Thailand, stated:
"Informa Markets has organised an electric vehicle technology exhibition in Southeast Asia for more than a decade. The event has now been rebranded as MobilityTech Asia - Bangkok (MTAB) to expand its scope to include smart infrastructure, autonomous systems, Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), software, and cybersecurity.
The 2025 event will continue to be co-organised with the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), which will also co-host the iEVTech Conference, a forum for presenting developments and trends in the industry. Additional forums will include the Future MOVE Forum, the ASEAN EV Round Table, and the EVAT Tech Forum. These programmes will address various topics related to mobility and sustainable transport.
Over 250 companies are expected to participate, including 24M, ROBERT BOSCH, BYD, FUJITSU, TOSHIBA, TESLA ENERGY, and TRUMPF.
