New Honda CBR250R launched in Indonesia

PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) released the new CBR250R in Exodus, Kuningan, Central Jakarta, today. Honda claims the bike has better performance and fuel consumption. The full fairing on the bike is inspired by the CBR1000RR. Engine:- 250 cc, DOHC, four-valve, single cylinder, liquid-cooled unit capable of producing 29 PS at 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Power is up by a claimed 1.3 PS from the last-generation bike. It has a six-speed gearbox with slightly modified ratios. Fuel consumption is said to be 0.9 km/l better than the earlier version at 50.1 km/l. Prices are not yet released but AHM provided an estimate - the standard variant between IDR 48.95 and 49.95 million (US$ 4,273 and 4,360) while the ABS version between Rp 56.7 and 57.95 million.
