Nissan Teana to be assembled in Malaysia by end 2010

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the official distributor for Nissan cars in Malaysia, has announced that the large family Teana sedan, currently sold as a CBU model for RM 230,026 (US$ 69,000 OTR with insurance), will be re-launched as a CKD model at the end of the year. Local assembly should lower Teana's pricing substantially, to compete with the D-segment dominated by Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
