Ola Electric opens its 500th service centre in Kochi, Kerala, as part of its rapid expansion efforts to widen its service network across the country.

The newly inaugurated centre is the company's largest service centre in the state of Kerala.

An Ola spokesperson said, "At Ola, enhancing customer satisfaction and ownership experience is our utmost priority. A key aspect to ensuring that is having a robust service network across India that allows us to cater to all service-related requests of our customers in the shortest time possible."

Ola Electric recently forayed into the sub-Rs. 80,000 (US$ 960) scooter segment and announced new prices for its S1 X portfolio.

Available in three battery configurations - 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh - the S1 X is now priced from Rs. 70,000 (introductory price), Rs. 85,000, and Rs. 100,000, respectively. "Deliveries of the S1 X line-up are slated to start next week," says Ola Electric.

The S1 X+, S1 Air and S1 Pro's prices have remained unchanged and stand at Rs. 85,000, Rs. 105,000 and Rs. 130,000, respectively.

Ola Electric offers an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for the entire range of products as standard.

Customers can also opt for an add-on warranty and increase the limit of the kilometres travelled up to 100,000 km at Rs. 5,000 and up to 125,000 km at Rs. 13,000. Ola Electric has also introduced a portable 3kW fast charger accessory which is available for purchase at Rs. 30,000.
