Skoda to launch updated Elroq, Enyaq

Skoda Australia has confirmed model year 2027 (MY27) updates for its Elroq and Enyaq electric SUVs, with changes to technology, features and pricing.
Select and Sportline variants of the Elroq and Enyaq are AUD 1,000 (US$ 690) more expensive for MY27, while the Enyaq RS range is priced AUD 1,100 higher. A full price breakdown is provided below. Company has implemented several of the updates announced for European markets earlier this year, although not all of them have been introduced.
Entry-level Select 60 versions of the Elroq and Enyaq replace the previous 63 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack with a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit. WLTP-tested range and efficiency figures will be confirmed at a later date.
The Select 60 variants also receive larger rear wheels and tyres, adopting a wider 255 mm setup for both the standard 19-inch and optional 20-inch wheel configurations.
Changes have also been made to option pricing, with the Ultimate Pack available for the Enyaq Sportline 85 increasing by AUD 100 to AUD 5,100. Brand has not provided information regarding the vehicle-to-load (V2L) or Digital Key functions that have been confirmed for Europe and the UK. However, the company has ruled out embedded connectivity for Australian-market models for the time being, despite the introduction of the Android-based operating system.
"Embedded online connectivity is not available for Australian vehicles, meaning features such as the in-car app store are not offered locally. While the updated infotainment system introduces a new interface and improved processing performance, functionality for Australian customers remains broadly unchanged," a Skoda Australia spokesperson said in a statement provided to the publication.
It remains unclear whether Australian-market models will receive the updated automatic headlight sensor. In addition to distinguishing between light and darkness, the Elroq and Enyaq can detect twilight conditions and automatically activate the daytime running lights and tail-lights in reduced-visibility situations, such as overcast weather and during dawn or dusk.
The new Elroq Sportline is not mentioned in the MY27 update summary, while the previous 130 Years Edition has been removed from the price list.
