On December 31st, 2024, TMT Motors delivered the first batch of Wuling Bingo vehicles to dealerships as part of its commitment to the initial 500 customers who had placed deposits for the electric car.

This batch includes two variants: the Bingo 333 and Bingo 410, available in colours such as Cafe White, Sakura Pink, Mint Green, Ocean Blue, and Carbon Black. The vehicles are scheduled for delivery to customers between late December and the Lunar New Year of 2025.

Commitment to customers

TMT Motors has confirmed that the remaining vehicles ordered by dealers and customers will be delivered by January and February 2025.

New customers and dealers who continue to place deposits will receive their vehicles within 60 days from the date the deposit is received.

Wuling Mini EV experience

The Mini EV, the first electric model introduced by TMT Motors in Vietnam, debuted in June 2023. Following over a year of positive consumer experiences, TMT Motors has partnered with Let's Go Taxi, Vietnam's first low-cost taxi service, to pilot the Mini EV in Phu Yen.

Due to the success of this business model, Let's Go Taxi has expanded its services to Binh Dịnh and Gia Lai.

To date, the taxi service has placed additional orders for 1,000 Wuling vehicles, including 600 Mini EVs and 400 Bingo models for its fleet.

Bingo market launch

It was officially launched in the Vietnamese market on November 2, 2024, offering four variants based on their driving range: 203 km, 333 km, 410 km, and 510 km.

The vehicles are priced at VND 349 million, VND 399 million, VND 469 million, and VND 569 million (US$ 13,700, US$ 15,600, US$ 18,400 and US$ 22,300), respectively.

The starting price of the Bingo is comparable to the Kia Morning standard model and slightly lower than the Hyundai Grand i10 (starting from VND 360 million).

Charging and technology features

The Bingo 333 km and Bingo 410 km models are designed primarily for home charging, utilising a 220V power supply.

As part of a promotional programme for early customers, TMT Motors offers a complimentary 3.3 kW slow charger.

The slow charging time ranges from 8 to 9 hours, while a 7 kW fast charger reduces charging time by 50%, bringing it down to just 4 to 4.5 hours.

Additionally, the Bingo is equipped with a DC charging port for fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes.

The Bingo also includes features such as electric adjustable driver seats, heated mirrors, dual 10.25-inch screens, LED headlights and taillights, and four airbags (for the 410 km variant). This model is also designed to accommodate taxi service operations, making it a competitive option in the market.
