Toyotetsu to invest large amount in new plant near Bengaluru

Toyotetsu India is set to establish its fourth manufacturing plant in Bidadi, near Bengaluru, to cater to the rising demand for Innova Hycross and support Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
Additionally, Aoyama Seisakusho Co. plans to invest Rs. 2.1 billion (US$ 25 million) in a new automotive fasteners production facility at Vasanthanarasapura.
Recently, Karnataka's Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) approved 20 projects with a combined investment of Rs. 22.8 billion, expected to generate 3,457 jobs.
The meeting, chaired by Karnataka's Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure, MB Patil, saw the green light given to significant projects, including Toyotetsu India Auto Parts and ILV South Warehousing Parks, with planned investments of Rs 4.5 billion and Rs 4.2 billion, respectively.
Patil also approved six large and medium-sized projects with a total investment exceeding Rs 500 million, amounting to Rs 20.3 billion, and expected to create approximately 2,440 jobs.
Furthermore, 13 new projects with investments between Rs 150 and Rs 500 million, totalling Rs 2.1 billion, were approved, projected to create employment for about 1,017 people. An additional project with an investment of Rs 400 million also received approval.
Toyotetsu India (TTI), a subsidiary of Toyoda Iron Works, is a key player in the automotive parts manufacturing sector in India.
