VinFast VF DrgnFly opens for sale locally

On August 20th, 2024, VinFast officially announced the sale of the VF DrgnFly electric bike model in the Vietnamese market, priced at VND 29.69 million (US$ 1,200).
VinFast began accepting orders for the VF DrgnFly electric bicycle on August 20th through all showrooms, electric motorcycle dealers nationwide, and the website vinfastauto.com. The bike is expected to be delivered to customers starting in September, 2024.
Following its introduction in the US market, Vietnam is the second country where VinFast has officially launched the VF DrgnFly, adding to their green product line-up that includes electric buses, electric cars, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, and a network of charging stations and service workshops across the country.
The VF DrgnFly was developed in collaboration with renowned Danish designer Eskild Hansen, who has won multiple prestigious Red Dot Design Awards.
Design of the bike is inspired by the image of a rising dragon in Vietnamese culture. It features an extended steering wheel, large tires, and an ergonomic saddle to optimise the driving experience.
With its trendy design, the vehicle is an ideal choice for customers who are dynamic, individualistic, and passionate about a green and liberated lifestyle.
The bikeĀ?s unique body structure, requiring complex fabrication techniques, includes a flat aluminium frame that is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. This design ensures an optimal balance between weight and durability.
Dimensions of the bike are 1,730 mm length, 720 mm width, 1,056 mm height, with a saddle height of 795 mm and a vehicle weight of 32 kg. These dimensions are tailored to the physique of Vietnamese people, enhancing comfort and flexibility during use.
The VF DrgnFly is equipped with a full LED light system for enhanced aesthetics and safety in low-light conditions.
Additionally, the bike features a hydraulic shock absorber system with a diameter of up to 50 mm for stability and smooth riding. The VF DrgnFly also uses hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels for reliable braking performance.
