Triumph Daytona 660 launch in local market

Triumph is set to launch the much-anticipated Daytona 660 in India on August 29th, 2024.
It was originally scheduled for an earlier release, the Daytona 660 faced delays but is now ready to hit the market.
Built on the Trident 660 Roadster platform, the Daytona 660 features a more powerful version of the inline-triple engine.
This 660cc engine delivers 96 PS at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, with 80% of the torque available from as low as 3,125 rpm, making it suitable for urban riding.
Daytona 660 showcases a classic super sport design with its sleek fairing, twin LED headlights, and an aggressive upswept tail section.
It rides on a tubular steel perimeter frame, with a 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD fork and a Showa monoshock with preload adjustment. Braking is managed by twin 310mm discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
For electronics, the Daytona 660 includes three ride modes - rain, road, and sport - along with standard dual-channel ABS.
Pricing for the Triumph Daytona 660 is expected to be between Rs. 900,000 and Rs. 925,000 (US$ 10,700 to 11,000) (ex-showroom).
