United E-Motor has officially launched the new electric scooter, the classic-style C2000 in Indonesia.

It is designed in the style of a European scooter, the scooter is priced from IDR 22.9 million (US$ 1,470).

The C2000 was initially unveiled as a prototype at Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, but it is now available for purchase with its final specifications. The General Manager of United E-Motor, Andry Dwinanda, stated that the C2000 is an ideal choice for those seeking an electric scooter equipped with a range of powerful features designed to facilitate daily activities.

"The United E-Motor C2000 is an excellent choice due to its timeless design, which remains stylish at all times, and its highly competitive price. Although the government subsidy is no longer available, we are offering a discount of IDR 7 million on the purchase of the C2000 to stimulate public interest," said Dwinanda in an official statement on 7th November, 2024

In terms of design, the C2000 draws inspiration from European scooters. The headlamp features a round LED projector with a DRL (Daytime Running Light) encircling it, while the turn signals also function as DRLs, made from smoked Mica to create a sleek appearance.

The scooter's body is finished with satin chrome ornaments, providing a subtle shine. In the true style of European scooters, the body is large, with chrome accents and air ducts added to cool the electronic components. The rear section retains the classic European scooter shape, with LED brake lights and turn signals, also featuring smoked Mica.

The C2000 is powered by a 3,800-watt hub-drive electric motor. The battery has a capacity of 72V 26Ah (approximately 1.8 kWh) per unit, with the option to install up to two batteries. This combination of motor and battery enables the C2000 to achieve a top speed of 70 km/h. The range is 80 km with a single battery and 130 km with two batteries.

Regarding charging, the C2000's battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in just 2.5 hours, with an auto cut-off function once fully charged. The standard price for the United E-Motor C2000 is IDR 29.9 million, but with an independent subsidy of IDR 7 million, the price for the one-battery variant is reduced to IDR 22.9 million. An additional IDR 5 million is added for the two-battery variant.
