Volvo Car Korea chief executive officer (CEO) Yunmo Lee announced on 3rd June, 2024 that it opened a new Volvo Hanam Service Centre to provide Swedish premium services to customers in the south-eastern Seoul and Gyeonggi regions.
The Volvo Hanam Service Centre, operated by Kolon Automotive, an official dealer of Volvo Car Korea, has 3 floors above ground with a total floor area of 1,903.18 metre square (approximately 576 pyeong), and is located on the main street in Hanam-si, connected to Songpa-gu, Seoul, providing excellent customer accessibility. Here, the 'Volvo Retail Experience (VRE)' concept is applied, allowing customers to experience Volvo Cars' unique Swedish premium service.
In accordance with the sustainability philosophy pursued by Volvo Cars, it is operated with eco-friendly energy through solar canopies, and in preparation for the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging services, fast chargers (DC combo) and slow chargers (AC combo) are installed in the service centre parking lot to facilitate the charging of electric vehicles.
The newly opened Volvo Hanam Service Centre is capable of general repairs for up to 450 vehicles per month, and provides customised premium services to customers through 'Volvo Personal Service (VPS)', which matches maintenance technicians and customers one-on-one. do.
In addition, a premium customer lounge has been set up so that customers visiting the service centre can comfortably wait during vehicle maintenance.
Volvo Car Korea CEO Lee Yun-mo said, "We have opened a new service centre in Hanam to strengthen our contact with customers in the south-eastern Gyeonggi region, including the south-eastern region of Seoul, and provide premium services unique to Volvo Cars."
