Kabar Oto, 10 Mar '25
The Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid has been launched ahead of Lebaran 2025, featuring several updates, including changes in the engine sector.
The price is IDR 19.9 million (US$ 1,210). The Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid is built on a new sturdy tubular frame, known for its high durability, stable handling, and low vibration levels, making it comfortable for both urban commuting and long-distance travel.
It is equipped with a new 125 cc engine featuring Blue Core Hybrid technology, which enhances fuel efficiency. This is achieved through Hybrid Power Assist, which boosts initial acceleration in the first three seconds. The Hybrid Power Assist is supported by Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology, ensuring a smoother motor starter while minimising vibration.
A Start & Stop System feature is also included to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption when the motorbike comes to a stop. Additionally, the range has been improved, thanks to a larger 5.1-litre fuel tank capacity.
The S type, offered in two colour choices Tough Gray and Prime Silver priced at IDR 21,500,000.
The Standard type, available in four attractive colours Active Blue, Adventure Brown, Trending Red, and Dynamic Black priced at IDR 19,900,000.
Dyonisius Beti, president director & CEO of Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, stated that the middle-class community values motorbikes highly, necessitating the production of extraordinary, strong, fuel-efficient, and high-quality models.
''This motorbike has undergone a complete transformation, from the new engine with Blue Core Hybrid technology to the redesigned appearance. Everything is now equipped with LEDs, yet it remains affordably priced,'' he explained in Bandung, West Java, on 7th March.
