Zelio Ebikes has launched an upgraded version of its X-Men series, the X-Men 2.0 electric scooter, on 12th November 2024 in India.

With this new offering, the company aims to cater to urban commuters by providing an efficient and stylish mode of transportation, available in four variants with different battery options and pricing tiers.

Zelio Ebikes also plans to expand its dealership network to 400 by March 2025 to support its growth strategy.

Battery, range, and specifications

The X-Men 2.0 electric scooter is offered with two battery types: lead-acid and lithium-ion. The lead-acid variants include a 60V 32AH model priced at Rs. 71,500 (US$ 850) and a 72V 32AH model priced at Rs. 74,000. The lithium-ion variants consist of a 60V 30AH model priced at Rs. 87,500 and a 74V 32AH model priced at Rs. 91,500.

The scooter achieves a top speed of 25 km/h and offers a range of up to 100 km on a single charge. It is powered by a 60/72V BLDC motor, with an energy consumption of 1.5 units per charge. The X-Men 2.0 has a gross weight of 90 kg and a loading capacity of 180 kg.

The lithium-ion variants require 4-5 hours for a full charge, while the lead-acid options take 8-10 hours. The scooter is available in four colour choices: Green, White, Silver, and Red.

Features

The X-Men 2.0 is equipped with safety features such as front and rear disc brakes, front alloy wheels, and a rear hub motor. To enhance rider comfort, it includes front telescopic and rear spring-loaded shock absorbers.

Additional features include an anti-theft alarm, central locking, reverse gear, parking switch, auto-repair switch, USB charger, and a digital display. Zelio offers a warranty of one year or 10,000 km for both battery types.
