All-new Nuen N1-S electric motorcycle to be launched

According to information from Nuen Moto, the company is expected to launch its first electric motorcycle model, the Nuen N1-S, in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The N1-S is described as the "first high-performance electric motorcycle model" to be launched in the Vietnamese market.
It will be available in two versions: the Founder's Edition and the Signature Edition. The Founder's Edition is a high-end model limited to 50 units. While the company is currently accepting deposits for the N1-S, the final price has not yet been announced.
Nuen Moto has released details about the design and specifications of the N1-S. The motorcycle features an urban scrambler design with a sleek appearance and high performance. It is larger than many popular motorcycle models, with dimensions including a length of 2,070 mm, a wheelbase of 1,450 mm, a chassis height of 175 mm, and a weight of 165 kg.
The N1-S comes with 120/70 front tyres and 180/55 rear tyres, both mounted on 17-inch rims, similar to those on the Honda CB650R and Yamaha XSR700. It is equipped with a front upside-down fork and a rear monoshock. The Founder's Edition includes Ohlins forks and Brembo brakes at both the front and rear.
It is powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of 32 horsepower and a maximum torque of 190 Nm. It features an 8 kWh battery pack. The prototype version has an estimated range of up to 200 km per charge, an average speed of 50 km/h, and a maximum speed of 130 km/h.
The N1-S supports fast charging, reaching 80% in 40 minutes (or 100% in 60 minutes) with a 3-phase DC power supply at the companyÂ?s station. Using a 220V residential power supply, it charges from 0% to 80% in 3 hours (or 0% to 100% in 4.5 hours).
Nuen Moto states that the motorcycle's battery pack is "one of the safest designed battery systems in the segment," protected by five safety layers: thermal, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and sensor protection.
The N1-S includes safety technologies such as a two-channel ABS braking system and regenerative braking.
It also features reverse functionality, automatic throttle (cruise control), and IP67 water resistance, allowing it to operate in flooded conditions for up to 30 minutes at a water level of no more than 50 cm.
