Toyota has expanded its hybrid vehicle line-up in Singapore with the official launch of the Noah Hybrid by authorised dealer Borneo Motors.

Its arrival adds a third model to Borneo Motors' Toyota MPV range in Singapore, providing compact, mid-sized, and full-sized options.

Measuring nearly 4.7 metres in length, over 1.8 metres in height, and with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, the Noah Hybrid adopts a 2+2+3 seating layout, offering more passenger space than the compact Sienta Hybrid.

It achieves this without reaching the larger dimensions and higher pricing of the Alphard Hybrid and Vellfire Hybrid.

The MPV is sold exclusively in the 'Elegance' trim. Standard equipment includes LED headlamps and tail-lamps, an aero bodykit with revised front and rear bumpers, side mudguards, a front grille, and 16-inch wheels with aero rims.

Although the Noah Hybrid has been available through parallel importers, units sold by the authorised dealer include exclusive equipment such as a factory-fitted 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto.

The interior features a 4.2-inch LCD display with analogue gauges, an electronic parking brake, tri-zone automatic air-conditioning for both front and rear occupants, and leather upholstery.

Rear passenger access is provided by dual powered sliding doors with kick sensors, along with full-length side grab handles for easier entry and exit. Second-row passengers are accommodated in captain's chairs with roller shades and a fold-up sidetray with two cupholders. The third-row seats can be folded up to expand boot space, which can hold three full-sized suitcases.

Power is supplied by a self-charging hybrid system combining a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated engine with a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor, producing a total output of 140 PS. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an e-CVT. The system is rated at 22.7 km/ litre fuel consumption, with a driving range of about 1,180 km on a full tank.

Safety features include the Toyota Safety Sense suite with Road Sign Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Monitoring. The vehicle is also equipped with a panoramic view parking camera and six airbags.

The Toyota Noah Hybrid is priced at SGD 238,888 (US$ 185,390), inclusive of COE.
