Changan Philippines is expected to expand its electrified vehicle line-up in 2026, with the Nevo Q07 and the updated Q05 likely to be introduced to the local market.
During a recent visit to the brand's headquarters in Chongqing, China, company representatives indicated that both models could arrive in the Philippines within the year.
The vehicles were also shown to visiting media at Changan's research and development centre in Liangjiang.
An overview of the two models that may become available to buyers in the Philippines is provided below.
Changan Nevo Q07
The Changan Nevo Q07, also known in China as the Qiyuan Q07, is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sport utility vehicle equipped with a 1.5-litre hybrid petrol engine paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor and an electronic continuously variable transmission.
The petrol engine produces 97 PS, while the electric motor delivers approximately 224 PS, with a combined torque output of 330 Nm. The model has a claimed combined driving range of between 1,345 km and 1,400 km.
Exterior elements include a closed-off front fascia with the Changan "101" badge, LED lighting, flush door handles, wheel-arch cladding, blacked-out pillars, a contrasting roof, and two-tone alloy wheels.
The interior features a minimalist layout, incorporating a centrally mounted 15.4-inch touchscreen display and a D-shaped multi-function steering wheel.
Features available in the Chinese market include a 12.8-inch fold-down passenger entertainment screen, a head-up display, and rear-seat screens.
Updated Changan Q05
The Changan Q05 is already available in the Philippine market, and its latest version adopts a fully electric powertrain.
A front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor produces 162 PS and 190 Nm of torque. The estimated driving range is between 405 km and 506 km.
Exterior revisions include revised LED lighting elements, flush door handles, black cladding around the wheel arches and side sills, darkened pillars, and rear styling designed to create a floating roof appearance. The vehicle is fitted with two-tone wheels and higher-profile tyres.
The interior includes leather upholstery and a dual-screen configuration, comprising a 10.17-inch digital instrument display and a 15.6-inch infotainment screen.
Additional features include voice control functionality and an artificial intelligence-based assistant.

Changan Philippines is also expected to introduce the Eado Plus and CS55 Plus at the Manila International Auto Show 2026.
The Nevo Q07 and the updated Q05 may be introduced at a later stage, potentially during the second half of the year.
